For a long time I had a negative opinion from working at Pirate Fashions; however I know that was a character flaw on my own part. I was entitled, lazy, and babied for most of my life, this job kicked that to the curb and demanded a lot of me which I now better appreciate.

They worked you hard here, continually pushing on their employees to strive and accomplish what they knew you could. They treated you like a family here, harsh language and all because of the structure of the business Tiger had envisioned. Its not just a place of work, but a family, a Krew. If you are weak of character, they will try to push that out of you. You give respect and they would give it back to you and vise versa. I have to say this job woke me up and contributed to my current success in the cooperate world where I make almost 50K a year now. So to Tiger and his Krew I wanted to say Thank you for instilling success in me and giving me that much needed kick in the butt I desperately needed.

You guys also gave me a confidence boost as when I first started , my traumas ran my life. You all helped me move forward in my life, move past my own failings into success.

Had the best time getting to know the people there and getting knowledge of the outfits. Everyone was so pleasant. We got to wear our outfits at the Georgia Renaissance fair during pirate weekend and got so many compliments. It was worth the time and money to get the outfits.

Ahoy me lads 'm ladies! I be Dead Red; The First Mate to Captain Tiger Lee of the South China Sea. A Five-year veteran of the brethren,(an 'old salt I be,) we have the largest selection of pirate period clothing as well as weapons, custom hat, hand made leather. And much more! These are not cheap costumes...they are made to be washed & worn [sometimes you may have to hang dry] and used at least 12 to 14 times a year without wearing out.

If you're looking for a high quality pirate costume for Gasparilla, I highly recommend checking out Pirate Fashions! If possible, do your shopping in-person as you get a better feel for what you would like to wear. The staff were very friendly and offered great advice on styling outfits and wearing certain garments properly. The store offers a variety of pirate fashion that is welcoming for different body types as well.

Quite by accident, I say, the man wench and I sailed into port at a charmin' little boutique that featured an amazing array of authentic gear for the proper pirate and the pirate wench! Friendly, knowledgeable shop wenches steered us to many styles of pirate garb and tales of the finest craftsmen! Whether you are a diehard pirate or just cruising for a Saturday treat, ring the bell and ask permission to come aboard! Ye shan't be disappointed!
